How long should the link stay open?

The file is stored on our server and deleted automatically when the time you choose runs out. It is shared as is: its EXIF data and metadata (including location) are not changed. Remove the location first with EXIF Scanner.

Why zirzibit Image Share?

Most image hosts keep images indefinitely and advertise permanent hosting. Image Share does the opposite: every image and video sits behind an unguessable link, is never listed anywhere, and its link closes when the time you choose runs out.

Forums, messaging apps or email: the share link opens anywhere, and videos play right on the page. The direct image link and ready-made BBCode let you embed the image in forum posts and web pages.

Content rules

Uploading these is not allowed:

Every share page has a report section. Reported files are reviewed and deleted before they expire if they break the rules.

Frequently asked questions

Who can see the link?

Only people who have it. Files are not listed in any gallery; every share page and file is closed to search engines with noindex, and known AI crawlers and web archives cannot access them at all. The 22-character key in the link is 128 bits of randomness, so it cannot be guessed.

When is the file deleted?

When the time you chose at upload runs out: 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days for images, 1 hour or 24 hours for videos. At that moment the link stops working. The file stays available to admins only for another 24 hours for abuse review, then it is fully deleted from the server. You can delete it earlier with the delete link.

Is the location in my photo shared too?

Yes, the file is shared as is. A photo taken with a phone can carry its GPS location, capture date and device model, and anyone who opens the link can read them. You can see and remove them first with EXIF Scanner.

Which files can I upload?

Images: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and GIF, up to 20 MB. Videos: MP4, MOV and WebM, up to 95 MB; videos are kept for 24 hours at most. If the content of a file does not match its extension, for example a file named .jpg that is not an image, the upload is rejected.

Can I show the image or video on a forum or website?

Yes. For images you get a direct image link and ready-made BBCode for forums after upload. For videos you get a share link that plays on the page and a direct video link. These links also stop working when the file expires.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Choose a reason in the report section at the bottom of the share page and send it. The report goes to admin review, and files that break the rules are deleted before they expire.

What data do you keep?

The file itself, its file name, size and upload time; all of it is deleted 24 hours after it expires or you delete it. If you arrived from a Google ad, the ad click ID (gclid, or gbraid or wbraid on iOS) is recorded without being linked to the file, reported to Google Ads only to measure the ad, and deleted after 90 days. Daily counters that are not linked to anyone are also kept, for example how many uploads happened and what kind of site visitors came from (a search engine, an AI assistant); no IP address or full address is stored. The page has no Google tag or tracking cookie.
