How long should the link stay open?

The video is stored on our server and deleted automatically when the time you choose runs out. The file is shared as is: videos taken with a phone can carry where and when they were recorded. See the location in your video with EXIF Scanner.

Why zirzibit Video Share?

Sending someone a video usually means signing in to a cloud drive, putting the file in a folder and setting share permissions. Video Share makes it one step: drop the video, copy the link.

The link opens anywhere, from WhatsApp and Telegram to email and forums, and the video plays right on the page. It is never listed anywhere and its link closes when the time you choose runs out.

Content rules

Uploading these is not allowed:

Every share page has a report section. Reported videos are reviewed and deleted before they expire if they break the rules.

Frequently asked questions

Who can watch the video?

Only people who have the link. Videos are not listed in any gallery; every share page and video is closed to search engines with noindex, and known AI crawlers and web archives cannot access them at all. The 22-character key in the link is 128 bits of randomness, so it cannot be guessed.

Which videos can I upload?

MP4, MOV and WebM, up to 95 MB. That is roughly half a minute to a minute of phone video. If the content of a file does not match its extension, the upload is rejected.

When is the video deleted?

When the time you chose at upload runs out: 1 hour or 24 hours. At that moment the link stops working; the video stays available to admins only for another 24 hours, then it is fully deleted from the server. You can delete it earlier with the delete link. Videos are much larger than images, so they are kept for a day at most; if you need longer, upload again and share the new link.

Does the video play in the browser?

Yes, it plays right on the share page and viewers do not need to download it. Some iPhone videos (HEVC-encoded MOV) may not play in every browser; they can then be opened on the device with the Download button on the page.

Is the video compressed or changed?

No. The video is shared exactly as uploaded, without any loss of quality. That also means the recording location and date in phone videos stay in the file.

How do I report an inappropriate video?

Choose a reason in the report section at the bottom of the share page and send it. The report goes to admin review, and videos that break the rules are deleted before they expire.

What data do you keep?

The video itself, its file name, size and upload time; all of it is deleted 24 hours after it expires or you delete it. If you arrived from a Google ad, the ad click ID (gclid, or gbraid or wbraid on iOS) is recorded without being linked to the video, reported to Google Ads only to measure the ad, and deleted after 90 days. Daily counters that are not linked to anyone are also kept; no IP address is stored. The page has no Google tag or tracking cookie.
