What exactly happens when it expires?
The expiry is checked on every request. The first request after the time is up closes the link and moves the file to an admin-only trash; it stays there for 24 hours for abuse review, then the hourly cleanup deletes it from the server for good. The share page, the direct image link and the forum code all stop working at once and show a "link no longer valid" page instead.
Files are not kept in the Cloudflare cache, and browsers check with the server on every view. So a deleted file does not keep showing in the browser of someone who opened it earlier.
Which time should you pick?
1 hour: to show something in a chat, support ticket or meeting. The image disappears on its own shortly after the other person has seen it.
24 hours: for everyday sharing in group chats, email or forums. This is the default on the home page.
7 days: for a week-long project, a design draft or a listing photo. This is the longest option; there is no permanent hosting.
Shortening or extending the time
The delete link you get after upload lets you delete the image any time before it expires. It is shown to you once; other people who open the share link cannot delete the image.
The time cannot be extended later. If you need longer, upload the image again and share the new link.

Content rules
Uploading these is not allowed:
- Private images or videos taken or shared without the consent of the person in them
- Any material depicting the abuse of children
- Content that glorifies violence, hatred or illegal activity
- Images or videos you do not own the copyright to and have no permission to share
Every share page has a report section. Reported files are reviewed and deleted before they expire if they break the rules.
Frequently asked questions
Can I delete the image before it expires?
Yes. Open the delete link you got after upload and confirm. The image and all of its links stop working immediately.
Can I extend the time later?
No. The time is set at upload and cannot be changed. If you need longer, upload the image again and share the new link.
Does the image stay anywhere after it expires?
The link closes at once and the file is fully deleted from the server 24 hours later; files are not kept in the Cloudflare cache and browsers check with the server on every view. A copy that someone downloaded or screenshotted before it expired cannot be deleted, though.
Do expiring links show up in search engines?
No. Share pages and files are closed to search engines with noindex, and known AI crawlers and web archives cannot access them at all.
What is the longest time available?
7 days. Image Share does not offer permanent hosting; the link of every image closes at the latest 7 days after upload, and the link of every video after 24 hours; the file is deleted 24 hours after that.
